Ecuador, where Qhapaq Nan remains on the heights of the Andes. From Otavalo, the road joins in Quito passing through the "Avenue of the Volcanoes" to the Hacienda San Agustin del Callo, built on Inca foundations. Hiking on the beautiful section of the Great Inca Route Achupallas in the administrative center of Ingapirca, to join the colonial city of Cuenca before diving into the Cajas National Park where beautiful sections of the way remains visible. For the first time in history, all six countries offer a unique candidate for the World Heritage List of UNESCO. The basic idea is to implement a system that combines heritage conservation projects with environmental protection (through the creation of parks or reserves) and cultures of Andean communities, while developing a sustainable economy through tourism.
